An air of Greek island splashes you in this tiny village, with a surprising configuration, old medieval village, 5 km from Guéthary in the interior of the country with the church of Saint-Martin of the XVIIth century, its cemetery perched on a small promontory. The church, let's talk about it, has a spectacular bell-tower with two unequal bays, and inside there is an altarpiece from the 18th century, a Virgin, a statue of Saint James (the village was a former stopping place for pilgrims from Compostela) and a splendid processional silver-gilt cross from the 16th century. As for the cemetery that surrounds the church with its wooden galleries, it obviously has discoid stelae and a particular feature, fleur-de-lys on the inscriptions.
