Travel Guide Prades-Salars

If this village was one of the first sauvetés of the Rouergue, it did not prevent him from falling into the hands of a thief who took possession of the Château-Curan castle in the middle of the th century. Château de Prades was facing the church. It was demolished and its stones used to build the houses around. The church dates back to the th century, but preserved the clocher of the first building dating from the th century. The village also made itself sadly famous for the Revolution, since it was here that the first priest of the Rouergue was martyred. It is better to keep the memory of this th century troubadour, Daudé de Prades, whose poems speak particularly of hunting birds.
