This important village has managed to keep its winegrowing character, despite its proximity to the city of Béziers. With the opening of the last section of the A75 freeway, it has regained its serenity and charm of yesteryear: in the Languedoc plain, it is one of the typical villages. This thousand-year-old village, whose first traces go back to the 10th century, has some representative vestiges of past eras. In this rural setting, the landscape is strongly marked by the presence of a vineyard with wines of character in the Côtes de Thongue appellation. A visit to the vineyards and winegrowers, as well as to the village, is a must.
