As you stroll through the village of Nissan-lez-Enserune, you'll discover evidence of a rich past. Your visit can begin with the Clock Tower - or belfry - which forms the entrance to the Plô, a quadrilateral of streets that forms the ancient heart of Nissan. Stop off at the 13th-century church, the 19th-century facades of the town hall and the old belfry. Outside the village, you'll find other attractions: two chapels of Visigothic origin, Notre-Dame-de-la-Miséricorde and Saint-Christol, the Palpas site with its three superimposed tunnels, three windmills dating from the 17th and 18thcenturies and the Parazols bridge.
