Montblanc, a village in the Mediterranean Languedoc, is perched on a hill overlooking the surrounding plain, watered by the Lène, a tributary of the Thongue. The oldest mention of the village in the texts goes back to the XIIth century. Montblanc has thus been marked by history, and the traces of its past are still very present in the heritage of the city. For this reason, visit the Town Hall to discover the collection created by Mr. Edouard Barthe, former deputy and mayor of the town from 1882 to 1949: engravings, sculptures and paintings testify to the beauty of the region and its cultural diversity.
