From the top of a rocky peak, with a splendid panorama over the Cèze valley, Cornillon is an old village listed on the inventory of protected sites, the most important of which, Saint-Gély, is the starting point for hiking trails around the hill and along the banks of the Cèze. Visitors can stroll through the village's narrow medieval streets, home to numerous artists and craftsmen, and take advantage of the many events (markets, trials and mountain bike championships) held throughout the year. The 13th-century château (privately owned, but open to tourists) houses an open-air theater within its ruined walls.
