On the Bas plateau, the village is located on the canal of La, excavated by Vauban in the th century. This watercourse is interesting for its many locks that are large pink sandstone works. The banks have recently been set up on the promenade and cycle trail between Strasbourg and Wolxheim. On the weekend, and especially during sunny Sunday, the inhabitants of the surrounding area take advantage of this opportunity for a long cycling or walking trip. Inside the village, there are old picturesque farmhouses with half-timbered and a Gothic Lutheran church of the th century.
