Once again the toponym of this commune speaks for itself: created by an Anglo-Scandinavian in the 11th century who settled following Rollon, Duke of Normandy, this rural estate was bought by the Esneval family in the 15th century, as well as the more important commune of Criquetot, located two steps away. The church of Saint-Martin has a Romanesque choir from the 11th and 13th centuries, bathed in light by contemporary stained glass windows that are bold, energetic, artistic and spiritual and worth admiring in situ.
