A village of 620 inhabitants located on the Roumois plateau, on the right bank of the Risle, and whose northwestern part is covered by the Montfort forest. Classified and whose origins date back to the 13th century, the church of Notre-Dame de Saint-Jacques, opposite the town hall, was built on a feudal mound. Nearby, among the flax fields that cover the plain, stands the superb Château du Bois-Héroult, built at the end of the 17th century and at the beginning of the 18th century, now private property but which can still be seen.
