Located south-east of Montfort and away from the Risle, this commune is essentially made up of plains. Appetot was attached to Bonneville-sur-le-Bec in 1844 to give birth to the town of Bonneville-Aptot. You can see the castle of Brenon (18th century), as well as the castle of Appetot (17th century) and its circular dovecote, built by Guillaume de Thouroude, Lord of Appetot.
