Perched at the top of one of the loops of the Seine, upstream from its confluence with the Andelle, Amfreville-sous-les-Monts was already occupied in ancient times. Its rich past is reflected in the church of Saint-Michel, whose bell tower dates back to the 16th century, and the Senneville manor house, now a listed monument. A stroll through the village also brings you close to the Poses dam and locks on the Seine, as well as the 17th-century Château de Canteloup. Don't miss the listed natural site of Côte des Deux-Amants, at the summit of which stands the castle of the same name, steeped in legend.
