The village, built in the mountains, spreads out over a sort of natural amphitheatre descending towards the sea. It is a traditional village, whose beautiful houses still bear witness to its history. The originality of Venzolasca lies in its main street and its ancient lanes made of Brando stone. On the seafront of the village is the site of Mucchiatana, acquired by the Coastal Conservatory in 1982. It is a magnificent site, populated by eucalyptus and juniper trees and surrounded by dunes. Eucalyptus, some specimens of which can reach 8 m high, is the main wealth of the site. The species is also protected.
