This small isolated village is made up of several ancient mountain hamlets lying on a mountain ridge of Monte di Castelle. The small hamlet of Castelluccio, situated above Mazzola, will enchant you with its view of the mountain range encircling the green valley of the Bozio and its superb fountain. If you continue to climb above Castelluccio, you will discover the pretty chapel of Saint Pancrace (1,035 m), a pleasant site in the middle of the chestnut grove. Beware of the very narrow and bumpy road where, among other things, free-range pigs roam.
