The commune comprises the mountain village of Sari and the seaside resort of Solenzara. Situated on a hill, Sari boasts some fine old houses, and was once guarded by a Genoese tower at Cala d'Oro, now completely destroyed. In the village, the parish church of San Pietro boasts original architecture and a beautiful bell tower with campanile. On the coast, a small, tranquil seaside resort with a family atmosphere and child-friendly beaches offers bathing without the current pulling you out to sea. The marina and fishing port on the way to the Tyrrhenian Sea is very popular.
