Surrounded by high peaks and forests, Quenza is built on a plateau. It has retained its authenticity, with tall houses dominated by a square tower. The Bavella forest, protected by the Regional Nature Park, is also a reserve for mouflons. It was also here that Corsican deer were reintroduced in the 1980s. Here you'll find all the treasures of the Alta-Rocca: the highest pines up to 50 m, oaks surrounded by chestnut trees and exceptional flora. It's a pleasant village, frequented by many lovers of green sports: hiking and horse-riding, canyoning, cross-country skiing in winter.
