Ota is the commune, Porto its seaside hamlet. A charming little village at the entrance to the Spelunca Gorge, on the way up to Evisa. The river is cool and the view of the Gulf of Porto is breathtaking, at just over 300 m altitude. You'll love the cheese specialities here: brocciu de Piana, classified as an AOC, and Ota goat's cheese. Climb the steep steps and you'll discover the village above, Capu Subranu, and the one below, Capu Sutanu. As well as the beauty of the gorge, there are two Genoese bridges along the way: the recently renovated Zaglia bridge (near the Aïtone Tavulella junction) and the Pinaella bridge over Porto.
