We love this small fishing village with Europe's largest holm oak forest, the Piriu, in the background, and the Fango valley and Filosorma forest all around. The port and beach of Galeria are, in themselves, of exceptional beauty. This is a wild coastline, with red cliffs towering above the sea, revealing here and there a few small coves. The Bay of Galeria and the mouth of the Fango are ideal spots for bathing in an unspoilt environment. To admire the panorama of the region and the rocks of Scandola, you can go to the Genoese tower of Galéria.
