Large mountain village made up of a series of hamlets. To the east, Mont Renoso frames the Gravona valley at 2,352 metres. You can also see the widest eternal snows in Corsica, at the Busso glacier. Its natural heritage and the quality of its welcome make it a sought-after climatic and summer resort. The hamlet of Poggiola was the birthplace of Napoleon's grandmother and welcomed the future emperor as a child, who later had a palace built here, U Palazzu. Since August 2016, this palace has been home to an eco-museum dedicated to the region's traditional way of life and its special history with the Emperor.
