For a long time, Chérisy has drawn from his position. Located at the borders of the valley of the Eure and its Norman groves, the plains of Beauce and the borders of Yvelines, both city and countryside, it offers a certain sweetness of life. Its existence dates back to the early days of Gallic domination. It was the place of passage from Paris to Dreux and to Basse Normandy by royal route (ancient Roman way). In 1870, the village was burned by the Dukes. Despite its immediate reconstruction the population ceased to decline. Starting in 1954, Chérisy will recover again.
