"The Queen's Market" operates all day long. When you wake up, you go for a coffee-croissant or scrambled eggs; at noon, you are inspired by the large slates hanging behind the counter and the open kitchen to choose from the multitude of tapas. At dinner, you can enjoy the setting of the designer restaurant, elevated and bright, where you can sit at large wooden tables to enjoy tuna à la plancha or brochettes. Es Ventall is a restaurant opened in 1982 by the Bonet family, offering ibicenca and Mediterranean cuisine that has nothing more to prove, as the large proportion of attic premises is proof. Traditional recipes such as bullit de peix, sofrit Pagés and also some creative dishes prepared by the son of the owners who became the chef emeritus, Jose Miguel Bonet Cardona. Some of his creations include the tartar of espardenyes (sea cucumber) with orange or the salad of mollejas (sweetbreads) and caramelised chicken.

Housed in an old mansion that has been completely renovated, just a stone's throw from the historic centre, Chef Juanjo Ruiz and Remedios Romero welcome you to one of the best restaurants in Cordoba! Casa de Manolete Bistro offers refined cuisine on weekdays à la carte, while A Flor de Piel Restaurante is the more gastronomic version with a choice of 2 tasting menus served in 9 steps or 10 steps, accompanied by a guided tour of the Palacete.

Housed in a former 19th century palace, this restaurant of the Seville Hotel School offers a dining room on the first floor and a pretty cafeteria-bistro in a very elegant patio. Refined and delicious, the cuisine adapts to the seasons, but you can, for example, enjoy a cold soup with almond milk, a carpaccio of langoustines with ginger ice cream, turbot with orange sauce, and finally a chocolate cake with a heart of mango cream. This is perhaps the best table inside the comarca, Michelin star since 2012. The restaurant with the white façade owes its name to the sumptuous and gigantic magnolias that trample in the courtyard. In the basement, there is a charming room where you can have a drink... with your feet in the sand!

Emile Huguenin, owner of a restaurant in Bordeaux where Spanish opponents met, decided to follow his customers. This is how he opened Lhardy in 1839. It is said to have been the first great luxury restaurant in Madrid. The refined atmosphere remains around the 21 tables of the living rooms on the first floor and the address is still very popular with the Madrid bourgeoisie. Try the homemade speciality: guts and stew (cocido). On the ground floor, the consommé (caldo) and pastries are delicious at any time of the day. Closed in August.

Why refuse to recover in what was the residence of the counties of Barcelona in the thirteenth century? Located in the old stables of the palace, this restaurant first offers a beautiful space, the old stables which, under their vaults, guarantee a dive in the past. Guesthouse pleasures will be up to the framework. The dishes are concocted from the best products in the region: fresh fish from Roses, fruit and vegetables from Empordà, Girone calf and artisanal pastries from the city. Since 1989, this establishment maintained by Pedro Lucena Ariza is known and renowned for its hams and cheeses from the cordobesa mountain. With a specialty, cerdo carrillada (pork cheek), but also will obtain salmorejos or toros rabos with the certainty of products from the day market. Enjoy everything in the restaurant, but also in the barra, with menus of the day (in week) and a zone of tapeo, where you particularly appreciate the anchovies of the lawyers.

In 2006, Martín, Extremeño himself, brought a little of his native land to open this grocery store, which also serves as a tasting point. Very well sourced, many products come from Jerez de los caballeros, near Badajoz, and will allow you to taste hams, chorizos, lomos and especially lomitos, one of the main products of the place. Or on the cheese side, the torta del casar, a sheep's cheese with a melting heart, and even the Canary Islands speciality, the guia flower, mixing cow's and sheep's milk and unique cheese using the thistle flower as a coagulant. It can be accompanied by a good selection of extreme wines such as Habla el silencio, a Trujillo wine, which sits in one of the corners of this warm shop or on the small terrace on the pretty square of La Concepción. Not to mention building a gourmet basket before leaving: jams, plasencia vinegar, vera pepper, etc.

Creative and rooted cuisine in this excellent Michelin-starred restaurant (the only one in the region). Juanjo Pérez and Yolanda León serve seasonal cuisine of great finesse, in a contemporary but not stuffy decor. The reception is very simple and everything is designed to make you feel at ease. The wine list is extensive, which you will discover simply by looking at the walls of the cellar. Excellent value for money for a restaurant of this category!

Here you won't find pintxos at the counter: you have to make your choice on the slate and order from the waiters (if you manage to make your way to the bar!). This tiny tavern, one of the best in the whole city, is a must for its pintxos guisados, real little dishes simmered in sauce, such as the famous carrillera (pork) with red wine. Idiazábal's cheese risotto is also excellent, as is the pork rib kebab and ravioli filled with scampi or chipiron (depending on the season).

Close to the town hall, this white cross is a great success for its terrace and its traditional, well-honed suggestions! The kitchen ensures (the service also!): cuttlefish, foie gras, fish and meat in sauce… Arrive early before the foire faire!

A natural cave in the heart of the old town. It is here that you will find this little gem of a French bistro. If the owner Nicolas is a fine sommelier who has worked in excellent addresses in Paris and New York, "French" cannot sum up the subtlety of the cuisine served here. The new chef, Begoña Arizmendi, is skilfully at work in her open kitchen, combining skills from the four corners of the world with ingredients full of freshness: ceviche, turbot meunière, duck confit... The wine pairing is impeccable.

The best address for lunch in the old port of San Sebastián, in a very picturesque setting, a stone's throw from the Aquarium. When the weather is fine, this is the perfect place to share raciones of grilled sardines, fresh anchovies and txopitos (fried cuttlefish) on the terrace, all accompanied by a bottle of txakoli. With the first freshness, we will opt for the very tasty fish soup. The restaurant also offers fish and seafood, but the note will obviously be a little saltier!

Located in the heart of Cabanyal, this is a reference to Valencia. Founded in 1836, this former bodega has preserved the rustic charm of its origins, when the house still sells wine per litre to local residents. Today, there are many families, locals, politicians and well-informed tourists. Behind its modernist façade, Casa Montaña has several rooms. The restoration of the place deserves special mention, with superb wooden shelves, ceramics and wine drums on all sides. After ordering wine (an impossible choice since the house has more than 1 000 references) on the good advice of the staff, it left for a parade of traditional flavours: Anchois anchovy (Cantabria), cod chunks and pine pignons, Valencian clóchina (local variety of mussels), bellota ham cut at the time of serving, base beef fillet, patatas bravas developed with potatoes all right from the village of Guadalaviar…

At the entrance to Begur, on the road leading to Tamariu, this restaurant first offers a delicious framework, in an old masia redesigned. And in good weather, a nice terrace giving the surrounding mountains. When you enter, you can let yourself be tempted, if it's the season with fried peas with garlic and ham and continue by opting for the peix, the specialty of Begur. But meat, cooked in the oven are also excellent and will delight lovers of meat tastes. Sweet side, oranges at the port or a blueberry ice should punctually punctuate it. Good selection of wines. Pleasant step in an intimate setting.
