Martín opened his restaurant Orixe in 2017 with a cuisine that is his own, of memories, like our Proust's madeleine!
Orixe means "Origin" in Gallego. Martín opened his restaurant in 2017 with his own cuisine, inspired by the women of his childhood! Everything is of origin: family recipes, products of designation of origin. More than a cuisine, it's the Galician culture that is highlighted also in the decoration. In summer you must try the salad of old tomatoes! The fish with murada or the rice with mariscos al estilo de la madriña, everything is good! Remember to make reservations. There is also a store to bring back good gourmet products!

The Orixe Gastonomía Galega is a restaurant located in the historical center of Santiago, more precisely on the Rua das Casas Reais in Santiago de Compostela. In this beautiful traditional building, the chefs offer a Galician cuisine inspired by grandmothers' cooking and elaborated with fresh, local and quality products. They prepare it mixing tradition and modernity, paying homage to their land and their childhood. You will also find all kinds of Galician products such as empanadas, preserves, sweets and wines of all appellations in their grocery store named "Les Ultramarines". Finally, this restaurant organizes charity events, blind tastings and cultural projects.

Queríamos reservar mesa a las 3 se la tarde (en la web ponéis hasta las 3 y media) me dice el chico que me atiende que tiene que ser para las 14.45.. y allá fuimos
Una vez llegamos nos comenta que rapidito y que vamos a cerrar ! Edo sin ni siquiera haber visto la carta ni habernos sentado a la mesa..
No contento con eso le comentamos que cierra muy pronto la cocina y de malos modos nos responde que hombre claro que querremos..
Lógicamente ni nos sentamos ni volveremos con este empleado impresentable
Hasta en la.mesa de al lado una señora comentó cuando.nos fuimos que no le extrañaba q nos marcahsemos con esta actitud
