Es Cranc ("the crab" in Catalan) has built its reputation on one of the traditional dishes of Menorca, and even of the town of Fornells: the famous caldereta de llagosta, a delicious and hearty lobster-based dish. The restaurant has become very popular with Spaniards and lovers of marine flavours in general. It must be said that the quality of the dishes is excellent and the prices remain very affordable. It is one of the best restaurants in the port, so it is better to book well in advance, especially in July and August.

Information on ES CRANC

Every day in season 1pm-4.30pm and 7.30pm-11pm. Closed in winter. It is preferable to reserve. 40/60 €, rather 70 € for a lobster.

Très bon rapport qualité prix mais nécessité absolue de réserver une table. Nous nous y sommes cassés les dents le premier soir. Seul petit bémol sur le service un peu "automatique", sans le côté authentique.
