In one of the quietest streets in the center of Ciutadella, this historic establishment opened in 1992. It's "the place to be" for pizza. Wood-fired oven, fresh quality ingredients, dough and artisanal know-how... the perfect combination. In addition to the extensive pizza menu, à la carte dishes offer good value for money. Varied salads, grilled vegetables, a selection of Iberian charcuterie, shrimps, mussels and calamari, carpaccios, rib steaks and grilled monkfish. Pizzeria Roma belongs to the famous Cafè Balear.

Adjoining a famous Barcelona decorating boutique, in a corner of the Parc del Turó, Iluzione is a gourmet Italian cuisine restaurant. The long, multi-level room is decorated with wood elements and warm lighting fixtures. The culinary experience takes us to Italy, with perfectly chiseled preparations, from homemade pizza to hair-raising pasta plates (the ricotta ravioli is to die for!). An excellent selection of wines and a number of well-crafted cocktails for connoisseurs.

An authentic pizzeria (kept by an Italian), very charming and with a nice terrace, in the historic centre. A good variety of pizzas, Italian cheese fans can take the tasty "anchovy provolone". The restaurant also serves lasagna, salads and pasta. A good address to escape some of the tourist restaurants at Calle Mayor.

Close to the Ribera del Marisco, an alternative offering good Italian cuisine in a nice room or in the patio of a th century century Palacio: Pizza and some meat (cutlets) yes, but especially a good selection of fresh pasta and well-developed salads.

This new restaurant is conveniently located in the lively Alameda square. It's perfect for a hearty breakfast of fresh fruit juice, coffee, tostada or eggs.... Mostly frequented by groups of young people sitting on the terrace, the place is also appreciated for its varied cuisine: cod salad with orange(bacalao y naranja), homemade tartar or fish lasagne. Note the delicious homemade cakes for dessert. Inside, the dining room is modern and comfortable, but a little noisy all the same.

Who said that a pizza couldn't stand alongside the preparations of the greatest chefs? Fabián, several times world champion pizza chef, demonstrates here that the transalpine patty can be elevated to the rank of a gastronomic speciality in its own right! In an elegant and unpretentious service room, you can be guided by the friendly pizza master, who also makes some very good pasta and salad dishes as well as famous tartars. Nice café with a spectacular view of the Peix pond. Very good for a hearty breakfast, a brunch at noon, a milkshake in the afternoon or a drink in the evening. On the menu, salads, a wide choice of pizzas (classic or special), fresh pasta (we recommend the dish of Chitarrine con bogavante, salsa de tomate cherry y albahaca fresca or the Spaghetti con almejas), fish and meat. And for those who are crazy about pizza, they even offer a Nutella pizza for dessert. Prices are quite high, as everywhere.

You will quickly repérerez its facade painted with vivid colors near the plaza de las Tendillas. This pizzeria is attended by young Cordouans who enjoy a card that is truly furnished with very reasonable prices (it won a Guinness guide with more than 350 different dishes!); The service is nice and the pizzas and pasta are quite correct. For all meat lovers, the El Palermo Viejo restaurant is essential. Hosted by Argentinian people of Italian origin, this restaurant offers one of Madrid's best meats and at a reasonable price. Before you get to the table, ask for a serves (half) to refresh yourself, accompanied by a chilena chilena (like pie, cheese, ham, or corn). The exposed beams and some jazz notes give the impression of being at home, as isolated from time. The card is rich, but there is no doubt. It will be tender to Argentina or solomillo white wine sauce (al verdeo). Follow the advice of the chef for cooking: " argentine punto ", i. e., slightly red. Vegetarians are not forgotten; pesto ravioli is delicious and hot goat cheese accompanied by tomatoes and candied figs under the tongue. El Palermo Viejo is also a bar and shop for Argentine products.

Macondo is considered by some to be the best Italian restaurant in Formentera. In the heart of the bohemian Sant Ferran, this is a place of reference for enjoying pizza, pasta and Italian recipes. Always busy and lively, this restaurant is worth a visit. In high season, remember to arrive early to make sure you have room (before 8.30pm) as the terrace is packed. If you're looking for a quiet and romantic atmosphere, don't bother!
