Located on the second floor of the Hesperia hotel, Iluzione is a gourmet Italian cuisine restaurant. A large, hushed blue room encircles a suspended gold T-rex and its warm lighting fixtures make up the decor. The culinary experience takes us to Italy, with perfectly chiseled preparations, from Neapolitan lasagne to hair-raising pasta plates (the gorgonzola gnocchi are to die for!). There's also an excellent selection of wines and a number of well-crafted cocktails for connoisseurs, which can be enjoyed at the bar or in the red lounge.

I went to ILUZIONE for a third party networking event so I only experienced the bar and associated staff. The cocktails were tasty (but pricey by Barcelona standards). The staff were very friendly and personable.
I understand that it is a multi use space in the city that has different pop-ups from time to time, so I hope to be back soon to experience it in the daytime and try the food!
