In a contemporary and minimalist decor, you can enjoy a regional cuisine revisited with a modern touch. With a beautiful presentation of the dishes and a wise selection of quality products, this is the best address for a meal in Plasencia. You can try the typical Torta del Casar, beautiful plates of Bellota ham and local cheeses, cochinillo (suckling pig) confit, but also homemade hamburgers, with a superb slice of veal... a delight. Good selection of wines of the region.

The dining room is bright and refined, and the cutlery is in the most classic style. It is a family united around the same cause that welcomes you, the Txapartegi brothers and their aunt. The young chef, Gorka, already has a background as an artist that allows him to do the cooking he loves, traditional and inventive at the same time: egg with truffled potato and garlic soup, candied artichoke and his veil perfumed with bacon... The fish is not à la carte, as it depends on the catch of the day. In the adjoining room, there is a tavern at more accessible prices.

This casa is the result of a long history. The restaurant opened in 1980 in another street and was then a "simple" tapas bar. Due to its success, it became a "real" restaurant, until it was selected to represent the restoration of the Valencian Community, in the Seville Exhibition in 1992. Since 2000, it has occupied its current space, located in a 17th century building, larger than the previous one. On the menu? Traditional meat dishes and recipes based on black truffles.

Its azulejo-clad walls give it an air of another time, as if you were entering the Madrid of another time... The large windows and a few mirrors here and there make the place bright. The warm and friendly welcome doesn't spoil anything. In the restaurant, you can dine on the great classics of Madrid cuisine, or enjoy a coffee with a pastry or tapas in the brasserie. Gran Café El Espejo, with its Art Deco terrace and kiosk on the Paseo de Recoletos, has no competition. Not to be missed!

It is often confused with Es Cranc, but they are two different restaurants although they are the same property. Cranc Pelut is located at the entrance to Fornells, at the beginning of the port. If Es Cranc is the specialist in caldereta, Cranc Pelut is one of the best places in Menorca to eat paella. A word of advice: don't take an appetizer, the paella for two is absolutely gigantic (you can eat it for four without any problem). The kindness of the waiters and the pretty view of the port do the rest. An excellent address.

Just a stone's throw from the church, this charming restaurant has a beautiful green terrace and a cosy decor. It is a superb address for breakfast (fresh croissants, freshly squeezed juices, tostadas, eggs cooked in all their forms...), a nice stopover at lunchtime and a gourmet stopover in the evening, where the dishes are more elaborate. Try the pluma iberica or the spectacular entraña de wagyu. To finish on a sweet note, desserts and home-made ice creams. Special mention for the particularly interesting wine list.

This typical bar in Madrid castizo, celebrated its 70 years. It's not uncommon to find toreros, this brewery is truly a madrilène hotel. His specialty, you will have understood: excellent snails cooked at mild fire. Tradition requires soaking bread in the sauce to leave nothing of this wonderful sauce. You will also find typical raciones like French fries.
