The restaurant of the hotel of the same name, located inside the fortifications of Dalt Vila, in the front line, is a recommendable option - but not cheap! - for those who want to enjoy the old town in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. It serves a very good Mediterranean cuisine, based on meat and fish. The breakfasts are excellent. In the morning, at noon and in the evening, you will appreciate the cosy and intimate atmosphere, in the pretty service room and from the large terrace with a view of the small park opposite. Very friendly service.

This restaurant is a must for all gourmets. Founded in 1969, it offers a selection of typical island dishes, made from local products. Combining finesse and creativity, the chef invites you to a fabulous tasting in a rustic and warm decor. The restaurant has 3 rooms and its major asset is, of course, its "bodega", open to the public, where you can choose, among a variety of 200 wines, the one that will best accompany your gastronomic journey. Reservations are essential.

A restaurant with a traditional decoration where you will taste market cuisine made with seasonal products. Fish (cod, sole...) and seafood (squid, shrimps...), very fresh, are used to prepare tasty Mediterranean dishes. But there are also meat dishes (entrecote, duck breast...) for those who like à la carte, to be accompanied by a good glass of wine, and very successful desserts. Good value for money, careful presentation and a warm atmosphere for a very tasty lunch or dinner.

Located in Patria, a few kilometers northeast of Vejer de la Frontera, the restaurant of the Sindhura rural hotel has become a sought-after address. In an exceptional, cosy space with panoramic views, on the terrace or under the veranda, it is now dedicated to Italian cuisine, prepared by a chef trained in England at the school of Jaimie Oliver. Other highlights include vegetables from the garden, homemade bread and excellent meats prepared on the grill.

This restaurant was one of the first to open in Cala Galdana. It enjoys a good reputation for its Menorcan cuisine. We come here to eat fresh fish in a family atmosphere. The daily menus (classic and especial) include a starter, main course and dessert. On the à la carte menu, you'll have to choose from the many tapas on offer(calamar a l'andalusa, pop a la gallega, patates braves, garlic shrimp, etc.) before turning your attention to the dozen or so proposals forarrossos and paellas to share.

Here they serve some of the best pintxos in the region! With its inventive or traditional, but revisited recipes, the Sagartoki is unanimously acclaimed. The idea here is to combine delicate and inventive small portions with maestro cocktails composed by the renowned Raúl Fernández. On certain evenings, especially at weekends and in the summer, DJs come to brighten up the atmosphere. Don't leave the premises without tasting the tortilla de patata, pintxo de huevo frito or parmesan croquettes. To be enjoyed at the counter or in a more formal venue.

A 10 minute walk from the historic centre, a beautiful rustic casona that hides well by its diversity and the quality of its cuisine. Several rooms inside, one haughty in parade clothes, white tablecloths, antique chairs... the other more relaxed under a covered veranda where stone, wood and large bays compete for space. Teo Tavern is a beautiful traditional bodega, which offers a wide variety of tapas, raciones and preserves. There are also some well-packed dishes, delicious desserts (we really liked the tiramisu) and homemade hamburgers and fries that are very popular. The welcome is rather warm, the local products on offer are of high quality and you can sit on the terrace as soon as the sun comes out. This is enough to take a nice gourmet break in the spring before heading back to the capital.

This restaurant, with its very pleasant décor, is located a few metres from the entrance to the palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso. A good option before or after a visit. And, after the meal, the large garden on the square just opposite the establishment offers a life-saving freshness in summer, when temperatures do not fall below 30°C. For its part, the menu of this small address offers all the great regional classics. There's nothing stunning on the plate, but the price-quality ratio is quite good.

A family restaurant open since 1977, as we like them, where you are welcomed with a smile even with a restless tribe (bottle warmer, high chairs available, children's menu). Located near the Plaza del Tossal, El Molinón is a tavern that offers Asturian specialties such as choricitos a la sidra (small chorizos with cider) or Cabrales cheese, also with cider, served in a terracotta casserole or in cream. And we wouldn't be in Asturias if we didn't have Cachopo, a kind of Viennese schnitzel in all its forms. And of course a wide variety of ciders. Run by the sympathetic Roque, this place offers two rooms, often full and with a very friendly atmosphere.

Among the most appreciated proposals of the regulars, it is its generous tapas containing hummus or cod which continue to make the difference. The sweet tooths appreciate their chocolate truffles (a small pie crowned with a chocolate mousse). As for drinks, the "cortado" and lemonade are the most popular.

The hotel specialises in vegetarian dishes, as well as barbecues, which you can enjoy sitting near the fireplace or on the terrace with panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada.
