The Tesseron house is renowned for its very fine collection of eaux-de-vie, which is among the oldest in the world. It was initiated by Abel Tesseron who founded his own cognac house in 1905. He kept his little nuggets in a 12th century crypt, and sold them to major cognac merchants. Since the 2000s, the company has been creating its own blends, marketed in 2002 under the Tesseron Cognac brand. All the cognacs are XO aged at least 10 years. Located in the centre of the village, the Salettina Distillery has been established since 1961 in the house where Maximin Giraud, the shepherd who witnessed the apparition of Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette, was born. Salettina is a liqueur made from wild plants to which white sugar syrup and local honey are added after maceration. There is a yellow, a green and a white Salettina. Grégory Dhoye cultivates various aromatic plants in his plot of land located in the heart of the Tarn to make liqueurs with the Organic Agriculture label. The Salers gentian is the oldest brand of Gentian of the Massif Central. Its inventor was a great lover of kirsch and he created this bitter drink to compete with drinks made from the bark of the Cinchona.
