HARDY COGNAC
Hardy House was founded by Anthony Hardy. This wine and spirits professional regularly came from London to Charentes to check the wines. The climate and charm of the region seduced him and he decided to settle there. He founded the Hardy House in 1863. A great lover of France and the French, Anthony became Antoine. And the icing on the cake: he also adopted the Gallic rooster as the emblem of his house... Very early on, its cognac was recognized in the world of excellence. His son Armand turned more and more to Central Europe, where his father was already exporting. His descendants opened new markets in North America, South America and English-speaking Africa. Two American importers asked Jacques Hardy for an extraordinary cognac. This was the birth of Perfection Cognac, presented in a prestigious Daum crystal factory. The artist Carzou created a lithograph for this unique object. Another cognac was sublimated in a Lalique carafe, a limited edition of 333 copies and signed by Bénédicte Hardy, a direct descendant of the founder. In the world of Hardy cognac, it is "haute couture"
