Throughout the year, the National Forest Park organizes outings, events and discovery workshops for the general public. Free, but please call 06 74 23 30 91 to reserve.

Spring flowers: Tuesday April 16 - 2pm to 5pm - Maison du Parc national & de la Forêt,
Leuglay. A hike for the general public to learn how to recognize the very first spring flowers in the National Forest Park (anemones, euphorbias...). Organized by the Maison de la Forêt.

Spring flowers" creative workshop (Special for children): Wednesday April 17 - 9.30am to 11.30am - Maison du Parc national & de la Forêt, Leuglay. Friday April 26 - 9.30am to 11.30am - Relais, Arc en Barrois: Creative and playful workshop on spring flowers, including making a decorative pot.

Recognition of trees in spring. Saturday April 20 - 9.30am to 12.30pm - Belan-sur-Ource. Saturday April 27 - 9.30am to 12.00pm - Villiers-sur-Suize. Forest outing for the general public to learn how to recognize the trees in the National Park's forests in spring.

Croque nature. Saturday April 20 - 2pm to 5pm - Maison forestière de Charbonnières in Auberive. With the help of Nick Derry, nature artist and painter, come and express your emotions by picking up your pencil and brush. This day of nature drawing is open to all, regardless of age or level. The only guidelines for the day will be to settle down, observe, sketch, draw, paint, listen to the birds and dream.

Elf creation" workshop. Wednesday April 24 - 2pm to 4:30pm - Atelier des Sabots de Vénus, Bay-sur-Aube. Creative workshop to create leprechauns using elements from nature. Workshop led by Samuel Storlaz of Sabots de Vénus.

Wild delicacies. Saturday April 27 - 2pm to 4:30pm - Jardin de l'Eden, Châteauvillain. During this outing, you'll learn how to identify, harvest and use edible wild plants from gardens and villages. Organized by Les sentiers de la belette.

Every summer in June, the Vitteaut-Alberti estate opens its doors. In 2024, join us on June 8 from 3pm to 2am. On the winery side, free tours of the estate will be organized every hour, and visitors will be able to taste and leave with a full tank of crémant. To take things a step further, you can take part in the "Dans la peau d'un caviste" workshop. A crêpe food-truck will also be on hand, and visitors can look forward to twirling demonstrations, a bouncy castle, static hot-air balloon rides and pop-rock concerts.

Fontenay Abbey, a magnificently preserved ^12th-century Cistercian jewel, organizes heritage, cultural and musical events every year. This year, 2024, the main dates are as follows:

Sunday March 24, 2024 from 10am to 12pm: Rally RS Club Porsche. Meet the club's passionate members and discover the most beautiful models of this legendary brand! An excellent opportunity to discover what makes the German brand so special.

Thursday May 9, 2024 at 6:30pm: Concert by laureates of the Gautier Capuçon Foundation. Léo and Luka Ispir, on violin and cello, and Karen Kuronuma, on piano, perform a number of musical classics, from Richard Wagner to Gabriel Fauré. An alliance of architectural and musical beauty, this concert is a unique opportunity to witness the blossoming of new talent.

Saturday May 18, 2024 from 9pm to 11pm: Night tour of the abbey. Visit or rediscover Fontenay by torchlight and moonlight. Immerse yourself in an atmosphere that facilitates immersion in the past.

Saturday-Sunday, June¹ and 2, 2024 10am-12pm and 2pm-6pm, Guided tours of the gardens. Discover the gardens of Fontenay in late spring, the flowering season par excellence. Awarded the "Jardin Remarquable" label, the gardens of Fontenay combine a French style with a medieval section where medicinal and tinctorial plants grow naturally.

Friday June 7, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Facel Vega Rally. This year, the brand celebrates its 70th anniversary with a rally that includes a stop in Fontenay. On the program: 80 vehicles presented by enthusiasts of this unique car.

Friday June 14, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm: aperitif with a view. Combine the pleasure of an aperitif with a visit to a UNESCO World Heritage site. Reservations Tel. 03 80 92 15 00. Pure hedonism!

Saturday July 13 and Thursday August 15, 2024 from 9pm to 11pm: nightly concerts by Gregorian choirs. Les Ambrosiniens, a Dijon-based Gregorian choir, performs Gregorian chants.

Saturday August 10, 2024, 8:30pm: Antonio Vivaldi concert, Concerto for 4 violins and The 4 Seasons. Enjoy the best of the Italian composer performed by 4 talented violinists, enhanced by readings of poetic texts on the theme of the famous four seasons. A rare moment of grace in a superb setting.

Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 10am to 6pm: Fantastic Picnic, 16th anniversary of the Auxois Morvan Naturellement label. Gastronomy, eating well and local produce are in the spotlight on the anniversary of this label promoting sustainable agriculture. The program includes an ephemeral market, stands set up by certified producers, a convivial picnic, musical entertainment and a hot-air balloon ride. By organizing this event, Fontenay Abbey aims to promote local, environmentally-friendly production.

Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024 from 10am to 6pm: European Heritage Days. Reduced-rate guided tours of the abbey. A glass artisan will share his skills and creations with you.

Sunday September 22, 2024 at 10am: Fontenay mass organized by the Montbard parish.

The Coupes Moto Légende event in Dijon is the biggest gathering of historic motorcycle demonstrations in Europe. Throughout the weekend, over 1,300 motorcyclists put on a show on the beautiful Circuit de Dijon-Prenois: roar of engines, smoke, leather suits, period outfits for those who ride vintage bikes, speed and controlled curves... In short, the riders put on a show!
The Coupes Moto Légende also features themed exhibitions of exceptional motorcycles in the paddock, a pitlane and grand prix teams open to the public, a village with over 85 clubs, a professional market and a large spare parts market in a festive atmosphere. An unmissable event for motorcycle enthusiasts.

The GPAO or Grand Prix de l'Âge d'Or is an event not to be missed by all mechanical enthusiasts and novices alike! Cars from the 1950's, 1960's, Formula 1 from the 1970's-1980's, prototypes from the 1970's, GT from the 1960's and vehicles from the 1920's-1930's offer you a trip into the past... On the program: races on the track with vehicles divided into different categories, presence of clubs, merchants of parts and accessories...

On this day, the Domaine du Lac de Chour water park is open until 10:30pm. Summer is celebrated with concerts from 6 pm to 10:30 pm, sweet and savoury food, real hot dogs, an artisanal ice-cream bar, and fireworks after dark... Many come to enjoy this convivial and festive moment in an exotic setting. Waterfront terrace restaurant, covered dining room. At lunchtime, the restaurant serves grilled meats and salads, and in the evening, Italian and Burgundian cuisine. The beach fills up as you enjoy the lake and its activities while waiting for the fireworks.

In the year of the Olympic Games in Paris, the MuséoParc Alésia offers a temporary exhibition on these unique games, from their origins to the present day. Accessible to children and adults alike, the museography makes the visitor an active participant in the exhibition. As soon as you enter, you become an athlete who must follow the course on the floor to reach the finish line! As you progress, you'll discover new themes. Discover Olympia, where the ancient games were held, understand why they were created and which buildings were built to host them. Then, meet the athletes who left their mark on their era, and discover the different events authorized over the centuries and competitions. Thanks to the use of facsimile objects, you can touch the ancient discus used for throwing, as well as weights and a javelin. Based on historical and archaeological discoveries, this immersive exhibition makes the link between ancient games and the modern Olympic Games, revived by a certain Pierre de Coubertin in 1896.

Until November 30, the MuseoParc teams are organizing events and activities on the theme of the Olympic Games, to create a bridge between past and present. Immerse yourself in the daily life of an athlete as you stroll along the MuseoParc terrace to the sound of the Olympian forest, try your hand at ancient events or attend an archaeological conference on the Olympic theme.
