The Christmas Village installs its magic for 16 days at the foot of the cathedral. About fifty wooden chalets, decorated and illuminated, await visitors. The association Romances à Dienné was created in 2021 and organizes, in collaboration with the town hall, the literary fair dedicated to all types of romances. The fair lasts 2 days and welcomes about a hundred authors, local, national and international, as well as 9 publishing houses. During this event, you can meet your favorite authors and discover new ones. You will also attend round table conferences and readings by authors. Julie Dauge, author and president of the association, makes it a point of honor to collaborate with several local actors, in order to make this festival even more beautiful. The pupils of the school of the commune work all year long to make bookmarks, the association of floral art takes care of all the decoration of the commune for the event and the committee of associations is in charge of the restoration on the spot. A free shuttle is also available for authors and visitors to reach the fair from the Poitiers train station. A fair where the key words are meetings, discoveries and exchanges!

Festivitas, the South Alsace tourism trade show, has been present in Mulhouse for over 10 years, bringing together gastronomy, wine and travel at the Parc expo. For 3 days, epicureans and fans of excursions come to find new addresses and ideas for original, gourmet trips. Local producers, winemakers, craftsmen and restaurateurs are on hand, proving that Southern Alsace is well worth the detour and has great potential. The DNA of Festivitas is the promotion of the Espace Rhénan, the true wealth of our region.

For shopping and bargain-seekers alike, this is a day not to be missed. For one long Sunday, retailers take to the streets, unpacking their stock and selling off their wares! To avoid the crowds, especially on Rue Nationale and Rue de Bordeaux, it's best to get up early. Don't worry, though, there are plenty of other small, more breathable streets in the city where you can find bargains here and there. Avenue de Grammont and Rue Charles Gilles are home to a friendly garage sale, while boulevard Heurteloup is home to a number of gastronomic stalls!
