Jean-Baptiste Combier (1809-1871) was always successful and the distillery he created in Saumur celebrated his 180 years in 2014. The Angers hotel wanted to get closer to the center's tourist heart by leaving the Atoll to nest on the pedestrian plateau. We can discover, taste and buy the whole range of liqueurs and liqueurs of its creation, such as the iconic "original Combier" liqueur liqueur, but also other alcoholic beverages or not like fruit creams, syrups (some organic), Anjou guignolets, pastis or absinos. and even preparations for traditional angevine soups or saumurens. You will be guided by your choices and will offer you a tasting. For who knows Saumur's distillery, which embraces its entire neighborhood through its orange and badiane scents, among others, the visit is a historic and gourmet walk. An avalanche of perfumes for exceptional syrups and fine bottles like the well-named Pure Folie which contains a wonderfully original strawberry liqueur. And one of the big novelties is the creation of a completely personalized gin. As in every fine liquor shop, prices seem relatively high, even for cute ones, so you have to be happy, but we're pasting the high-end craft here and what choice? more than 50 syrups, 38 creams of fruit, one in the stunning vineyard fishery, 43 liqueurs, 6 life-starters including cocoa or coffee, 26 aperitifs, 6 absinthes and some cocktail preparations!
