Located between Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, the 1,600 hectare vineyard of Montagne Saint-Emilion extends among the most prestigious terroirs. The Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation is represented by more than 220 winegrowers. The Syndicat Viticole de Montagne Saint-Emilion is therefore the ideal place to discover the vines and wines of the terroir. The vineyard is part of an exceptional natural heritage, which has given the commune its name "Montagne". According to popular rumour, the bottom of the steps of the Mountain Church would correspond to the top of the bell tower of Saint-Emilion.
