Ferme Auberge des Genestes is a charming establishment located in Saint-Genies, in the Périgord Noir region. The farm offers both bed & breakfast and a gourmet restaurant. The rooms are air-conditioned and have independent sanitary facilities. The rustic dining room can accommodate up to 45 individuals or 60 groups. Guests can also take advantage of the swimming pool, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Ferme des Genestes is surrounded by fields and forests, offering a peaceful, secluded setting. The farm's owners are passionate about duck cuisine and offer products such as foie gras.

La Conserverie Mathilde et Mauricette is an artisanal producer of Périgord specialties based on duck, pork and ready-made meals. It sells its products year-round, with no artificial colorings, flavors or preservatives. We also offer gift boxes, which can be found in our online boutique, or put together and shipped to you. Our pork preserves are certified "Saveurs du Périgord", a guarantee of the traceability of our raw materials.

Sylvie and David have returned to the land, following their professional reconversion to farming that respects nature and uses no pesticides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers. They favor the association of friendly plants and pollination by bees. The chickens' pasta scrapes the soil and fertilizes it, and the frogs in the water reserve devour the slugs! Their products (vegetables, eggs and chicken) are of impeccable quality.

It's the first store that works in this new area of economic activity in Cablanc. It is the transfer of the store known as C Top, located on the edge of the old RN 21, at the exit of Bergerac. Domaine de La Tuque lies at the heart of unspoilt countryside on a promontory overlooking the imposing fortress of Château de Biron. This 6-hectare vineyard, the only one of its kind in the Monpazier region, is a special place, which 2 passionate winegrowers Gilles and Vincent have decided to revive on a unique terroir, by replanting forgotten grape varieties and working in organic production. The estate is open to visitors all year round, and offers red, rosé and white IGP Périgord wines made from Abouriou, Colombard, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

Régine and Christian put all their heart and soul into making the most of all the delicious products derived from the ducks raised on their farm. You can enjoy fresh products (such as magret or marinated duck cutlets) or slip divine foie gras preserves into your suitcases. If you're lucky enough to be visiting in winter, try the figs stuffed with foie gras: they're unforgettably melt-in-your-mouth and well-balanced. You'll find them at the local markets: Cherveix Cubas on Sundays, Terrasson on Thursdays and Hautefort in summer.

Gilles and Etienne de Conti, two cousins from a family of Bergeracese winemakers, manufacture their organic beers in a small building which, as a decoration, has planted two feet of hops. After a lot of commotion around the world, they had the idea of creating their own beer in the wine country. The name Lapépie comes from a local expression: it means that we are thirsty… Brune, blonde or blonde beers are made from natural products: water, organic malt, hops, yeast and sugar. They are fresh with a very mild bitterness and easily marry with all the dishes.

We had to dare… Florence Boyer-Rey, from Sarrazac, did so. She left the school at Sarlat's professional school to pick up her aunt's grocery store, which had exploited her for 40 years and then sold to two other people. The young woman only works with local producers: Laupilière farm for duck, Ferme farm for pork and veal, Le Délice de Lionel pour le boeuf, Florence Coste for chickens, Chaminade Vergers for fruit, Sisters Nicolas for organic vegetables, and every Thursday batch of fresh fish. Bread is provided by two Bakers bakers. Florence Boyer-Rey offers vegetable and/or meat season baskets on the weekend. She also manufactures her own jams with the region's fruits and complemented them with some decorating ideas. On Sunday morning, in July and August, a producer will have a free taste of the region's products.

Edouard Roullet raises and processes trout and sturgeon, not far from Sarlat and Montignac. His fish farm benefits from the high water quality of the Inval, a small river free of pollution. Rainbow trout, fario trout and brook salmon are raised from egg to adult. The fish are then caught and processed on site. Its products often win awards, like its gold medal trout at the Concours Général Agricole 2019. For sale on site and in producers' stores, or at the market on Tuesdays from April to September.

In this delicatessen, at lunchtime, you can settle down to a dish of the day, or a nice salad. Dishes, salads and desserts combine tradition and reinvention, with vegetarian options. All ingredients are sourced from local producers. For the delicatessen, we have also chosen producers from different regions of France. You'll find preserves, teas, wines, spirits, local beers and spices. A catering service is also available on request, as is the possibility of privatizing the establishment.

Isabelle and Yves are organic milk producers. Some farmers make cheese, they have decided to make farm milk ice cream. They are masters of the whole chain, from the GMO-free feeding of their animals to their ice creams made from whole milk without additives. The milk jam is made from milk and sugar that is only cooked for many hours. A la carte 22 flavours plus a sorbet are available in jars, logs and cakes. They also sell preserves, honeys, jams, organic wines and dried fruit from local producers.

La Tourte du Lardin, owned by Jessica and Jonathan, is a bakery-pastry shop known, among other things, for its Périgord baguette made with Périgord flour, but also for its pastries. In the bakery, the dough is worked slowly by hand, and salt from the Ile de Ré is added. A chain of traceability that guarantees the customer a product that couldn't be more local. These traditional breads keep longer. We love walnut tarts, pastels de Nata, macaroons, flavored with pistachio, chocolate, banana, raspberry...

Bière de Sarlat is the brainchild of two enthusiasts, Xavier Gombert and Jean Yves Fauste. One is an agricultural engineer, the other a world paragliding champion. They set up their craft brewery three years ago, investing in modern tools and using high-quality, GMO-free ingredients. Brassée 24" is available in brown, blond, amber and even walnut liqueur! They were awarded a gold medal for their blond beer at the 2019 Salon de l'agriculture.

The couple Ginette and Kléber Lasserre raise geese and ducks which they process and preserve in an approved laboratory. You can buy the products at the farm or online: foie gras, blocks, rillettes, stuffed necks, manchons, gizzards, fat, etc. and cooked dishes such as duck with blood, orange, civet or green pepper, stuffed duck legs, goose stew, goose confit and neck stuffed with beans or salted and dried duck breast. Everything is cooked according to traditional Périgord recipes.
