This exceptional product, jewel of our territory and which bears the name of has a beautiful setting in Sarlat.
In winter, it is the great return of the Tuber-Melanosporum (black truffle of Périgord). The truffle market is controlled by the group of truffle growers of the Périgord Noir. Each truffle is checked before being sold. Carefully inspected and then "canifed" to check its condition and quality. In this local, rue Fénelon, you are sure to buy your truffles at the right price. There is a wholesale truffle market on Place de la Liberté on Wednesday afternoons from 2.30 pm. In summer, discovery of the summer truffle, on Tuesdays in July and August from 6pm, rue des Consuls.
