La Botiga of Maison Pélégris in Sarlat is both a delicatessen and a tasting place. One comes to taste the famous croustous, to share, between friends, a plate of the products which proposes the store: duck breasts, semi-cooked foie gras, rillettes, dried duck breasts with foie gras, saltings, preserves, etc. As the market takes place just in front of the store, we enjoy ourselves. Located in the heart of Sarlat, the store sells alcohols made in the old Lapouge Distillery in Madrazes, founded in 1860, which later became Distillerie du Périgord. Their offer is based on the Périgord region: ratafia, walnut liqueurs, truffle or chestnut based aperitifs... Not forgetting their range of Lascaw whisky, aged between 5 and 20 years! The Distillerie du Périgord has also launched culinary aids: wines and infusions of mushrooms ready to use for deglazing, marinating, flaming... Recipes are even available on their website!

Also present in Périgueux, Le Bugue, Paris and its suburbs, this brand continues to develop. Professionals, and above all lovers of the Périgord region, these wine merchants offer you a selection of the best Bergerac wines such as Château de Tiregand, Château de la Jaubertie, Château la Tour des Gendres, etc. Of course, the other great vineyards also have their place there as well as other jewels of our region; liqueurs and brandies, confits and other foie gras. At Jean-Christophe Gounou, Maître Artisan Glacier, you'll melt with pleasure at the immense choice of flavors and aromas, from the most classic to the most inventive. Passionate about his craft, Jean-Christophe sources his raw materials as locally as possible. His pistachio ice cream is a big hit, but his other flavors are a hit with gourmets, even in Périgueux, where they can be found. Frozen pastries, crêpes and waffles, fondues and chocolate soups, and milkshakes complete a generously iced offer!

You'll find preserves, teas, wines, spirits, local beers and spices. A catering service is also available on request, as is the possibility of privatizing the establishment.

Bière de Sarlat is the brainchild of two enthusiasts, Xavier Gombert and Jean Yves Fauste. One is an agricultural engineer, the other a world paragliding champion. They set up their craft brewery three years ago, investing in modern tools and using high-quality, GMO-free ingredients. Brassée 24" is available in brown, blond, amber and even walnut liqueur! They were awarded a gold medal for their blond beer at the 2019 Salon de l'agriculture.

Preserving local produce is a true Lagrèze family tradition. Even today, Sylvie and Pascal keep the tradition alive. Whole duck foie gras, stuffed goose neck, quail with foie gras, pork anchaud rolled in its rind, duck confit, and Marie-Louise's famous dishes such as wild boar sausage with three beans, or coq au vin de Bergerac simmered with porcini mushrooms.
