This estate is an enchantment when you get there, it is both a wine estate and a guest house. This medieval property, a priory until the 15th, then a farm, was bought a few years ago. Its restructuring lasted 10 years. The new owners built a superb cellar in 2006 (the decoration is contemporary and the materials are magnificent). Gérard Marreau, a teacher of training and grandson of wine-growers (4 th generation), leads the family tradition. It operates a vineyard of 30 ha and has no fewer than 18 varieties. Work remains manual and chemicals are now excluded. The Domaine Chante Cigale was created in 1874 by Hyppolite Jourdan. Take your time when you arrive at Prévosse, because the masters of the house are enthusiasts before being winemakers. This so rich land in the heart of the Davin family is passed on from generation to generation. The farm is more than four centuries old, the vineyard plots host both young and old vines on grape varieties of carignan (70 years), grenache (60 years) and syrah.
