More than a historical revival, it is a real journey in the heart of the th century that Mornas and its fortress relive each year, through theatrical visits and guides in costume costume of the day more real than nature! From the entrance to the gate of Barbacane, a guard commented on the evolution of the fortress with regard to its architectural details. It's "the biggest theatre in the world"! Thanks to the diversity of its cultural offerings, the Off, an alternative festival created in 1963 by André Benedetto, is one of the largest festivals of independent companies in the world. It transforms the city - suspended signs, flyers with catchy words, acrobats competing with imagination to bait the barge. Companies come and go from far and wide. Everything is conducive to theatrical gesticulations: improbable places arranged (garage, corridors, barge ... but also disused school and gymnasium).

When you come out of the train station in the centre of Avignon, in front of you, a long courtyard is taking shape, it is the Cours Jean-Jaurés where one of the richest book markets is held. Chinesers, collectors, everyone will find something for everyone. Beautiful editions are offered, as well as posters of old festivals, records, at affordable prices! We give you time to leaf through the pages, to immerse yourself in history. No one is here to force your hand, and so much the better.

It's in the old salt loft whose origin dates back to 1363. Then rebuilt, it was rehabilitated in 1989 by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte . Today, it is a place of creation and innovation dedicated to art. The next exhibition will be held from 5 to 24 March 2021. To make your mouth water: it's 2097, teams of young researchers are investigating strange electrical and vegetal creatures that have mysteriously appeared. Who are they and where do they come from? For years, a team of volunteers has been working hard to ensure the success of this cultural event. It takes place in the heart of the village. Lapalud is a humid plain which, at one time, was covered with fields of mulberry, madder and vines.

One day, a Lapalutian brought back sorghum seeds from the neighboring countryside which he planted on his property. Its cultivation was imposed, its flexible straw is very easy to handle and the inhabitants started to shape it and to use it as a broom. In the 1920's, Lapalud had four broom-making establishments; the sunny holidaymakers who travelled on the N7 used to stop there to buy them (Luis Mariano or Jean Nohain would have been seen there). But the glory of this small village disappeared the day when the Ponts et Chaussées had to divert the N7 which bypasses the town: no more brooms, brushes, feather dusters. Also arrived on the market the competition of the Eastern countries, the setting in circulation of the broom "heather of roadman" (the broom of witch) and the vacuum cleaner.

Since 2015, the municipality and the festival committee organize the first weekend of June the festival of brooms which includes a colorful foot race with or without broom, a petanque competition, a hike, musical entertainment and aperitifs. A convivial moment guaranteed.

The Lacoste Festival, created by fashion designer Pierre Cardin, is one of Provence's summer festivals. Dedicated to theater, dance, opera and cinema, it celebrates its 24th anniversary this year. Performances take place in the Carrières du Château du Marquis de Sade, a historic, unusual, surprising and unforgettable site in the heart of the Luberon. The spirit of the festival is to "launch" young talent, some at the dawn of a promising career, but not only that... with many headliners sharing the program.

Nicolas Ughetto, a wilderness photographer based in Sault, offers us a unique look at the Ventoux through his photos. Accustomed to thinking like an animal, he patiently explores and observes nature. His photos, films and guided outings are his means of expression. The photos in his gallery trigger emotion and bear witness to local authenticity. Having been the subject of several television reports, Nicolas has also been honored at prestigious European photography festivals and has been published in the national press. In short, his gallery is well worth a visit.

Every four years since 1980, Pernes-les-Fontaines organizes the Culture Days and Tradition of Heritage Days. For two days, the entire village is making a-year leap back to recreate the atmosphere of yesteryear. The muros is transformed into a vast pedestrian area where everyone revives, with the greatest fidelity, the village late in the th and early th centuries. Lanes, places and monuments live at the rhythm of the past, with the serenity of walking, horse or bicycle. For example, the old town of Pernes is undergoing a metamorphosis where most inhabitants have the traditional costume enchanting over the machines and tools of the past.
