Super Cafoutch is the cooperative supermarket from Mars. Cafoutch is a small storage room where you can put everything and anything. From the Marseilles expression, the association develops a consumer cooperative. To consume yes, but differently: quality products, local and accessible for all. The model is inspired by the Park Slope Food Coop created in 1973 in New York. To consume, you have to be a member; the cooperators each hold one or more shares in the supermarket and decide together. It is also a participatory supermarket: each cooperator devotes three hours per month to various tasks such as cashiering, stocking shelves, ordering, etc. The project is also social: finding everything at Super Cafoutch and cheaper than elsewhere, consuming locally and responsibly (99% organic and local products). Between vineyards and olive trees, the Domaine de la Vallongue is nestled in an exceptional natural setting.
