It is one of the largest and most popular markets in Provence. With 450 vendors on Saturdays and 300 on Wednesdays, you can find everything on the stalls: fruits and vegetables, cheeses, flowers and spices, meats and fish, honey, all fresh products and regional products and also clothes and crafts. The prices are reasonable and allow everyone to buy healthy and tasty local products. What to make more and more followers every Saturday morning on the place Saint-Michel. The Maillane market is held every Thursday morning on the Place de l'Église. It is a very small market, but so typical that it is worth a visit, if only because it is held in the village where Frédéric Mistral was born. It is mainly food products, sold by local producers, but also clothing and some other non-food products. There are not many exhibitors and the atmosphere is particularly friendly, a bit like the markets of yesteryear. The shadow of Mistral still hangs over it.
