Good food requires good ingredients. This is true for all the gastronomies in the world and Italy is on top. With this axiom and a solid experience in restoration, Antonio Passasseo started the adventure in 1988. Located in Kingersheim and surrounded by three children Barbara, Paola and Massimo it continues its path by proposing no less than 3,000 transalpine products, food for the vast majority: wines, cheeses, pizzas, fine groceries and almost 200 references for pasta alone. All regions of Italy are represented. Always good advice, Vita-Impex has not finished making us greedy in Italy.

EAUX MINERALES CAROLA

Local producer

In 1785, Abbot Grandidier mentioned in one of his alsars that a mysterious source appeared and disappeared for several centuries in the region. A century later, in 1888, this phenomenon will stir up the curiosity of Dr. Staub, who will eventually find his provenance. He then decided to create a thermal establishment that he chose to call Les Bains Carola, in tribute to his wife Caroline. In 1890, the first bottles of this medicinal water were found in drugstores and pharmacies. But it was not until 1919 that Ribeauvillé's Mineral Waters Company was created to commercialize the famous Carola Rouge (carbonated water), which will be joined by the Carola Bleu (its flat version) in 1955. In 1989, Carola Rouge became the first gas water to be packaged in plastic bottles. 4 years later, an innovation complements the range; This is Carola Green, finely sparkling, followed by the launch of the flavored waters in 1999. In 2013, Carola celebrated 125 years of undisputed and undisputed success: its mineral waters occupy a prominent place on the Alsatian tables. Today Carola is committed to sustainable development and for its region, but is also committed to preserving the quality of its water. The history that binds the Alsacians to Carola is far from over!

BRASSERIE DU RHIN

Craft brewery and microbrewery

The Rhine brewery claims to be Elsasser bier, an Alsatian beer. 100% pure malt, it is made with local products (from the Haut-Rhin and Bas-Rhin) and brewed on the one hand in Thierenbach (monthly production of 900 litres) and now next to Mulhouse (monthly production of 5,000 litres). You can therefore taste the production as soon as it has matured with the two draught beers offered for tasting. The schedules are not fixed, it is not uncommon to find the door open earlier in the week and during the day. It seems that drinking beer increases life expectancy by ten years (with a certain moderation), so it would be wrong to deprive yourself!
