If you're one of those people who go out of their way to find THE perfect cheese for your near-perfect dinner, we highly recommend a visit to the excellent Au Bouton d'or. Au Bouton d'or is where you'll find the crème de la crème when it comes to... cream! It's hard not to fall in love with the 270 different kinds of raw-milk farmhouse cheeses, matured in two separate cellars: one for cooked cheeses and one for goats' cheeses! At Le Bouton d'or, we try to look for "but", but all we find are delicacies!

Grand choix de fromages mais des prix exorbitants ( même pour ceux des régions limitrophes : Vosges et Franche Comté ) . L amabilité n est pas au rendez vous . On sent l agacement lorsque l’on demande l origine d un fromage . Les touristes ne semblent pas les bienvenus .

Extremely expensive cheese and of mediocre quality. I have been living in France for 2 years and have a fair understanding of the cheese and their prices. Wasn’t expecting to buy a Raclette Cheese for 25 euros for a few slices !
