At the turn of the year 2000, the Westhalten cellar and the Heim House became part of the Bennwihr cellar. It is from this happy merger that the name Bestheim was born, synonymous with terroirs rich in famous vintages and an association of complementary know-how! Today, the site is dedicated to the development and production of crémants. Just the return of things since the Westhalten cellar was one of the instigators of the Crémant d'Alsace appellation! The Wolfberger Boutique organizes a variety of events and workshops, including the Prestige commented tasting and the guided tour of the vineyard. Afterwards, it's up to you to choose from a selection of Crémants d'Alsace, Riesling Vendanges Tardives and Pinot Gris Sélection de Grains Nobles. Conducted in organic farming since 1997, this vineyard spreads over the hillsides of Bennwihr, Ammerschwihr, Katzenthal, Riquewihr, Colmar and Turckheim. From this diversity are produced wines of ranges characterized by a great power in mouth. A visit to the family cellar allows you to taste authentic nectars, such as the Gewurztraminer Cuvée Sainte-Cécile, or the Grand Cru Kaefferkopf. There is also L'Épure, a range of 100% natural wines. You can also, on request, discover the century-old cellars where these precious wines are patiently aged.

The history of the Humbrecht family dates back to around 1620. Established in Pfaffenheim since 1900, they work the vines according to the rules of organic and biodynamic agriculture. They plough with draught horses and use sheep. They also encourage the planting of flowers and plants for pollinators, and install nesting boxes for birds. The Paul Humbrecht estate produces wines that are exceptional depending on the vintage, as well as liqueurs and eaux-de-vie that combine quality with very competitive prices.

If the Cave des Vignerons de Pfaffenheim is considered to be one of Alsace's highest quality wineries, it's thanks to a guiding principle that it has followed since 1955: favoring the terroir's imprint and encouraging good vineyard practices (integrated pest management, grassing, green harvesting...). We find the trace of the first winegrower of the Ginglinger lineage in 1610! Today, André and Marie-Paule perpetuate the tradition with their daughter Éliane who has a training as an oenologist. Some of their wines are matured in oak barrels, others have obtained a sigillé from the Confrérie Saint-Étienne. During your visit, you will be able to visit the cellar (capacity: 50 people) but also the vineyard. Good to know: your children can romp around in a playground while you taste some of the excellent Ginglinger-Fix vintages!

Although its origins date back to 1795, Domaine Kuentz-Bas has existed under this name since the ^19th century. Ecocert and Demeter certified, its wines are available in 3 ranges: La^4e Tour, Vendanges Tardives and Collection Trois Châteaux dedicated to biodynamic wines (Muscat Ottonel, Pinot Gris Grand Cru Eichberg, Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Pfersigberg...). We love the gourmet Muscat Trois Châteaux Ottonel 2018 and the cuvée Signature 2019 (pinot blanc, auxerrois, pinot gris, muscat). Matthieu Kuehn runs with passion this 8-hectare family estate, which collects awards: 3 gold medals at the National Cremant Competition, 17 at the Best Paris Wines Competition, 4 at the Mâcon Competition... A success that can be appreciated in a cellar where the welcome is equal to the wines tasted. Some vintages prove to be exceptional, notably the Riesling Grand Cru Eichberg with intense citrus notes. As for the Crémant d'Alsace Brut 100% Riesling, the Revue du Vin de France awarded it the superb score of 17/20!

The Becker family has been established in Zellenberg for four centuries. They have been pampering their superb organic vineyard for 25 years. A great name in Alsatian viticulture, the Hugel family has been dedicated for generations to the promotion of Alsace wines. This estate of 30 ha, with a worldwide reputation, exported to more than 100 countries, is today managed by Jean-Frédéric and Marc-André, representing the ^13th generation. Tastings are possible in their typical and charming cellar. A favorite is the Gentil Hugel 2021, which combines the spice of gewurztraminer, the body of pinot gris and the subtlety of riesling with the fruitiness of muscat and the thirst-quenching side of sylvaner.

The name of this artisanal bakery dedicated to the good breads of yesteryear is a wink to the Turlutin, mischievous elf whose name is chanted at the time of the festival of Saint-Martin with the liking of a childish rhyme. The breads are baked in an oven over a wood fire: wheat, rye, spelt breads, garnished with seeds, grapes, nuts or olives. We also buy manalas in December and galettes des rois in January.
