The history of the Humbrecht family dates back to around 1620. Established in Pfaffenheim since 1900, they work the vines according to the rules of organic and biodynamic agriculture. They plough with draught horses and use sheep. They also encourage the spread of flowers and plants for pollinators, and install nesting boxes for birds. The Paul Humbrecht estate produces exceptional wines, depending on the vintage, as well as liqueurs and eaux-de-vie that combine quality with very competitive prices.
