This family business took off in 1947 thanks to Ernest Butterlin and his wife Léa Mann. Their son Jean is responsible for the 8 ha of the estate. The vines are spread over 30 parcels including the Grand Cru Steingrübler. The family cultivates its vines in the respect of the traditional methods: reasoned fight and manual grape harvests.
