The result of the merger of Aldorf and Eckendorf, this village contains many timber-framed farms and 18th century cob filling. You can have fun finding their construction dates written on some elements. In 1912, a miner put his finger on a bronze age tomb containing a skeleton and a spear, so the site has been occupied for a long time. Today, you can visit Lutheran churches with their organs and the medieval remains of a fortified enclosure.
