Ivanica/Иваница (pronounced "ivanitsa") has about 150 inhabitants, 60% of whom are Bosnian-Serbs and 30% Bosnian-Croats. The village is part of the municipality of Ravno, within the canton of Herzegovina-Neretva. It is located 9 km northeast of Dubrovnik, 21 km southwest of Trebinje and 58 km southwest of Ravno. There are no bus connections.Situated on a pass, 410 m above sea level, this border village is in full development with the construction of dozens of luxury villas overlooking the Adriatic Sea, less than 3 km away as the crow flies. It is the closest Bosnian locality to Dubrovnik. Beautiful views and busy border crossing.
