The old coastal village, well restored, has kept the traces of its historical heritage (church and monastery). Below a hill, the river Zavrelje flows into the sea, hence the name Mlini, referring to the mill, used to grind wheat or to crush olives. A microclimate has favored an abundant aromatic flora here. The central office of the regional tourist office is located in Mlini. The agency provides information on the coastal region from Dubrovnik to Duboka Ljuta and on the community of municipalities Kupari, Mlini/Srebreno, Soline and Plat (TZO Župa dubrovačka, Šetalište dr. Franja Tuđmana 7, www.dubrovnik-riviera.hr).
