Travel Guide Miomo

Miomo faces the island of Elba, which appears and disappears on the horizon according to the weather. Two pebble beaches invite you to take a dip: one beneath the tower, just four kilometers from Bastia, and a smaller one further south. Owned by the Collectivité de Corse, the Miomo tower dates back to the 16th century and was listed as a Historic Monument in 1927. As part of a European program, it has been restored in the same material used for its original construction, lime. Today, Miomo has become a listed seaside resort and an ideal destination close to Bastia.
