The municipality of Santa Maria di Lota has four hamlets: Mandriale, Figarella, Partine and Miomo. From the ridge, the three hamlets (Mandriale, Figarella, Partine), dominate the sea of Miomo and its pebble beach, protected by a beautiful 16th century Genoese tower in good condition. Today, Miomo, has become a real seaside resort. Walking along the hamlets, and mainly when arriving at the village of Figarella, one can discover several American houses, and a castle built in the 19th century. To see: the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Mandriale, and in Partine, the Annunziata chapel and its baroque triptych.
