As all the villages of the South Côte Chalonnaise are made up of a village and at least one hamlet, Fley is made up of two distinct villages: the Bourg and the hamlet of Rimont. The Bourg, founded on the site of an ancient Roman villa near the road linking Autun to Tournus, is grouped around its 12th century Romanesque church. Between vineyards and meadows, dominated by Mount Bouzu (461 metres), the village of Fley, made up of beautiful Burgundy houses, is the occasion for a long walk (16 km from the church of Fley) entitled Le sentier des Orchidées. Indeed, the calcicolous lawns of the area offer an ideal ground for orchids, some of which are rare. It is advisable to take this walk in the spring. Also worth seeing are the mills of the Teppe, Chapiteau and La Tourte.Hamlet of RimontAbout 2 kilometres away, the hamlet of Rimont was built in the 12th century by the monks of the great Cistercian abbey of La Ferté to cultivate vines. A certain religious tradition has endured since, today, it is the community of Saint-Jean de Notre-Dame de Rimont that has settled in imposing 19th century buildings, following the minor seminary of the diocese, around a neo-gothic church. In addition to the church, the chapel, a Gothic calvary in the village and the wash house of the 9 fountains are also worth seeing
